After having a crack at an academic career, in 2010 I threw it all in so that I could cook. Some people call me crazy and I'd have to agree, I'm crazy I didn't do it sooner! Now I work full time as a Chef. I love immersing myself in food culture, learning new professional techniques, perfecting recipes, and particularly discovering how these can be used by the everyday person to give home cooking an edge.
